About Ms. Smith
Ms. Smith graduated from California State University of Northridge in 2003. She taught 5th grade in Woodland Hills, before coming to teach in her home district (Conejo) in 2005. Ms. Smith grew up in Newbury Park, the oldest of two girls. She likes to hike long distances, run, read (mainly murder mysteries), play volleyball, crack jokes, dance, and go to the beach. Ms. Smith also enjoys expressing herself through painting and writing.

1. Find out the assignment:
a. Call a Study Buddy (at the start of the school year your student should exchange phone numbers with at least two students per class); or b. Look up the assignment in Zangle ParentConnect (Parent needs to login with parent PIN/ Password.*) c. Check with teacher or see folder in class. 2. Obtain any missed handouts: a. Prearrange with a Study Buddy that if either of you is absent, the other should pick up an extra set of handouts from the teacher; then you and your parent should arrange (with the family that picked up) for FAXing or pickup of the handouts. b. See makeup box for dates absent to get missing handouts and tests. 3. Get any explanation you need: Website; see teacher; get notes from Study Buddy. |
Late work accepted next day for partial credit at teacher's discretion.
