How to E-Mail Us: Sometimes parents have sent us e-mails that we haven’t received. Here’s most likely why: Our school district has an e-mail spam filter system that does a good job overall. However, occasionally, a legitimate e-mail is mistaken for spam & gets “filtered” into a junk e-mail folder. And the e-mail doesn’t reach us. The workaround to help ensure that your e-mail is received is to preface the Subject of your e-mail with CVUSD (which, of course, stands for Conejo Valley Unified School District). For example, let’s say you’re Mrs. Jones, writing about your son, Johnny. For the e-mail’s Subject, type: CVUSD Johnny Jones (instead of just Johnny Jones). When the spam filter encounters a Subject that starts with CVUSD, it interprets the e-mail as legitimate.
