COMMUNICATIONS
One of the PTSA’s most important functions is to facilitate communication between the school and the student’s family. Staying informed in middle school can be a challenging experience. Colina PTSA commits significant resources, both human and economic, to provide our families with access to important information.
Colina PTSA publishes the Cougar News eight times a year. This publication is filled with vital information for students and families regarding upcoming events, deadlines, and opportunities. PTSA volunteers edit, print, collate, and distribute the newsletter.
Family Directory
Colina’s Family directory is sold at Orientation, Back to School Night and in the school office during the year. Any family who purchases two PTSA memberships will receive a free directory. Volunteers compile and type the directory.
Colina’s Website
Colina’s website at www.colinamiddle.org contains extensive information about the school. An area of the website is dedicated to PTSA news and activities, including issues of the newsletter. Contact colinaptsa@yahoo.com to communicate your ideas, suggestions or comments.
PTSA assists with the sale of school supplies, and sign-ups for PTSA membership, escrip, Colina Family Directory and the Patron Program during Orientation.
