Ralphs Grocery representative Hillary Carter, with Principal Mr. Waters and PTSA President Kathleen Woodward, on Jan. 17, 2008 presents check for $2399.42, raised through Colina families' Ralphs eScrip purchases. eScrip is a partnership between Ralphs and Colina PTSA (which has similar eScrip arrangements with other local businesses). Funds garnered are used to support partial or full scholarships for Colina grade 6 Outdoor Education students. Sincere gratitude to Ralphs and Colina PTSA.
Everyone needs to buy groceries...so why not join our scrip program and send a percentage of your grocery dollars directly to Colina?
Escrip is a “no cost” way for you to raise funds for our school. If you do your grocery shopping at Vons, Pavillions, Ralphs, or Albertsons/Savon and have their Club Cards, all you need to do is register Colina as the school you want to support. It doesn’t cost you anything and the grocery stores mail us a percentage of total sales each month! And once you sign up, there is nothing else you need to do. You can also sign up the grandparents – another easy way to earn money for our school.
Vons, Pavillions, Ralphs and Albertsons send Colina up to 5% percent of your grocery dollars every time you swipe your Club Card! It doesn’t cost you anything!!
Colina Middle School can also earn up to 6% of dollars you spend at Macy’s Department Store when you sign up…you can register your Macy's card online at www.escrip.com. If you do your holiday shopping online, please use escrip.com and click on Online Shopping; there are hundreds of retailers you can chose from; you save up to 40% and Colina earns up to 10%

eScrip/Grocery Club Cards
One of the easiest ways you can help fund the PTSA sponsored programs at Colina is by signing up for the three Grocery Club Cards in our area. When you use your club cards to buy groceries at Vons, Pavilions, Ralphs, or Albertsons/Savon stores, a percentage of your purchase price will automatically be sent to the school. Simply swipe your card – that’s all you need to do!
Sign up now, it’s easy!
You can apply for a Vons or Pavilions Club card by going to the store and asking for an application or go online at www.vons.com. If you have one, you can register online at www.escrip.com. You may bypass the initial eScrip screens & go directly to the first step of the signup procedure by clicking on sign up link. . Toward the bottom of the screen, click on Groups/Schools. Click on Select Your Location.From the pop-up menu, click on Southern California. The screen will say: Identify your group by one the following: Choose Group ID, and type in Colina’s group identification number is #136559009.
· While online at www.escrip.com, check out the family of merchants which include: Macy’s, Vons Pavillion, Bristol Farms, Claim Jumper Restaurant, Carls Junior, Baja Fresh, Pick up Stix, Big 5 and many more. By signing up your credit card or debit/ATM online, these merchants will contribute 2-8% of your purchases to Colina!!
. To apply for an Albertsons/Savon preferred savings card, call 877/932-7948, ask for customer service and they will immediately sign you up. Colina’s Community Partner identification is #49000106027. You can also apply online at www.albertsons.com.
· To apply for a Ralphs Club card, go directly to the store and fill out an application. You can also apply online at www.ralphs.com. You should then call or email Sandra Goodman so that your club card can be registered with Colina. Alternatively, you can fill out the registration form. Colina’s Group Identification NPO is #2346.
