Rachel's Challenge
Peer Helpers serve fellow Colina students in two primary ways:

• showing new Colina students the location of their classes, the library, cafeteria, gymnasium, etc., escorting the new students to their classes and having lunch together on the new students' first day of attendance; and

• assisting students who are temporarily incapacitated with injuries by carrying their books from from class to class.
Peer Helpers for new students are selected by the school counselors based on a computer matchup of common classes. Helpers for injured students may be friends who have some classes in common.
