May I have a computer printout showing how my student is doing in classes?
A teacher may use one of three methods to provide the information; one of those methods is via My Own Grades.Teachers who use My Own Grades are highlighted above, with links to the pages for obtaining the grade printouts. For teachers using My Own Grades, you may access your student’s grades, by following this procedure:
1. Click in the chart above on a teacher’s name; this will take you to that teacher's page.
2. On the teacher's page, in the column labeled Grades, click on the link/image labeled My Own Grades.
3. Select your student’s class from the popup menu.
4. Enter student last name (it is not case-sensitive; it’s just the last name, without including the first-name initial).
5. Enter the student password (it is case sensitive; it's CAPITAL, lower, lower, followed by three numerals; there is no space between the letters and numerals).
Parents, please remind your student that he/she is not to share his password with any other student. Thank you.
Please note that My Own Grades is a courtesy service in which individual teachers may or may not participate. If a teacher does choose to post grades, updates would take place minimally at 6- to 7-week intervals. Some teachers may choose to update more frequently, but the service is not designed for parents to compare one teacher’s participation with another’s.
Please be sure to heap on the praise for good performance. For areas needing improvement, work together with your student to develop study strategies. If the teacher indicates that much homework is missing/incomplete, be sure to use the Zangle ParentParent Connect.
