Daily Event Guide 2007-08
Day 1, Sept. 6, 2007: No Event
Start to fill your "Mission Possible" Thermometer Chart. For every 2 raffle tickets turned in, place 1 sticker on your Thermometer Chart.
Day 2, Sept. 7, 2007: Bingo Game Day
Draw 5 raffle tickets and give each winner a RED Bingo Card. Students, bring your Bingo card to lunch to play for prizes.
Day 3, Sept. 10, 2007: 3-Legged Race
Draw 2 blue raffle tickets and give each winner a 3-Legged Race coupon. Students pick a friend to be their partner and race at lunch for prizes.
Day 4, Sept. 11, 2007: No Event
Students, make sure your student envelope is completely filled out.
Day 5, Sept. 12, 2007: Bingo Gamne Day
Draw 5 raffle tickets and give each winner a YELLOW Bingo card. Students, bring your Bingo card to lunch to play for prizes.
Day 6, Sept. 14, 2007: Bowling Tournament
Draw 2 blue raffle tickets and give each winner a Bowling Tournament coupon. Students bowl at lunch for prizes.
Day 7, Sept. 17, 2007: No Event
Any student who will not be in school for the "One and Only" Turn-In Day, please arrange to have your orders turned in by a parent or friend.
Day 8, Sept. 18, 2007: Bingo Game Day
Draw 5 raffle tickets and give each winner a BLUE Bingo card. Students, bring your Bingo card to lunch to play for prizes. All classes that completed Level 8 on the "Mission Possible" Goal Thermometer tear-off the perforated top with teacher name for entry into a raffle to participate in the "Venus Fly Trap" event tomorrow.
Day 9, Sept. 19, 2007: Venus Fly Trap
Venus Fly Trap at lunch. Teachers in the winning classses please distribute Venus Fly Trap lunchtime coupons to students. Reminder to all students that tomorrow is the "One and Only" Turn-In Day.
Day 10, Sept. 20, 2007: Collect all the student envelopes and put in the Teacher Collection Envelope
Send the Teacher Collection Envelope to the front office for accounting. This may have been done before school. If earned, turn in the Teacher Appreciation Gift Certificate Raffle Entry to the office.

Above guidelines are only a framework, which teacher may adapt as he/she would like.

We depart for Disneyland from Redwood Middle School at 8:30 a.m. sharp; please arrive by 8:20 a.m. After the event, parents pick up their students at Redwood at 8:30 in the evening. 5 students qualified for this highest level of magazine sales. Thanks for your support.

Top magazine seller for 2002-03 was Kevin Walters, who served as Principal for a Day on Oct. 18, 2002. Principal Mr. Waters "shadowed" Kevin's classes on the day he's at the helm. All students who sold at least 32 magazines were eligible for a trip to Disneyland or Calif Adventure.

Grade 6 student Kevin Walters (who sold most magazines) and Principal Mike Waters reversed roles for a day. Among various actions and duties, Kevin hired the band "Insignia" to play for the student body at lunch time.
