Here's how to make up missed work when you are absent:

District policy allows for a student to have as many days as absent to make up missed work. Many times, though, a student is able to and chooses to do missed work while at home recuperating from his/her illness. Assignments may be obtained by calling a Study Buddy or using Zangle ParentConnect. If an assignment involves a handout, if a student and his/her Study Buddy have fax machines, the handout may be obtained by these means. Otherwise, the two Study Buddies should agree that if one of them is absent, the other will obtain an extra of any handout issued; that afternoon or evening, the absentee can work with his/her parent to arrange contact with the buddy's parent for pickup of the handout.
