Because Thursday conflicts with the last day of STAR testing at Colina, students selected for the GATE Leadership Conference will make up the missed portions of the STAR on Monday, May 19, 2007. Application deadline: directly to Colina's Student Store (Conference limited to 4-5 students (but sometimes additional openings become available), to be selected randomly by the District's GATE office from among those expressing an interest in attending; applicants must not have attended the conference previously.) |

The purpose is to assist students in developing and practicing skills which will enable them to become the effective future leaders needed in our communities and in our country. From Thousand Oaks, take 101 North to Olive Mill exit. Right onto Olive Mill. Left onto Hot Springs Road. Right onto Sycamore Canyon. Turn right at the Fire Station, which is on the left. It is about 1/2 mile to Westmont's Lower Entrance. Continue, stay to the left at a fork in the road; you are now on La Paz Road. You will see Westmont's Main Entrance just ahead. |
